The KPA is Kibworth Primary School’s Parents Association – we’re a team of volunteer parents, carers and teachers who help raise funds to enrich our children’s learning experience and support the superb work of the school.
Our fundraising is becoming increasingly vital to supplement ever-declining school budgets, and since its inception the KPAhas raised literally thousands of pounds, which have been spent on replacing and improving equipment and resources to enhance our children’s education and the facilities in school in general. Since May 2015 funds raised by the KPA have been invested in the amazing Rainforest Library and new books, new furniture in Foundation Stage and chairs for the ICT suite, PE clothing and school refurbishment.
If you’d like to get more involved, meet other parents, have a say in how we spend the funds, or have some great fundraising ideas to share, why not come to a KPA meeting? We usually meet every 4-6 weeks, on Mondays at 7pm in the school staff room. Whether you can only come to the occasional meeting to chip in your ideas, or would like to have a ‘formal’ role on the committee, you’re always very welcome! We are particularly keen for new parents to join us so please do come along if you can.
Thank you to all our children, parents, school staff and local businesses who support our events and activities – we couldn’t do it without you! The KPA team
